School Contest Analisis

Me and my friend :iconzen-akira: <harmony> were entered by our teacher in a Drawing contest, Well first off i got to say ouch, anyway, me and harmony drew something according to the theme but everyone didnt draw, we were the only one who drew something with a pencil all of them made there's with oil pastel, first we thought that we would win, but when the time came for us to color, all i can say was "wow, we color like 8 year olds...". Now i am trying to learn how to color, need recommendation on what style of coloring i should practice (oil pastel, Paint, etc), also :iconsingko: and :iconkrior19: were also my opponents in the contest, they used pastel too TT.TT
